In my senior year of high school, I learned that it was going to be far easier to get to where I want to be, by just doing what I had to do, even if I didn’t really have a direction. Apparently certain people skipped school the day I learned that. After the Conservative Convention I found that the candidate that I was backing for the Republican nomination, none other than Mitt Romney, had dropped from the race after a dismal run on Super Tuesday. I was a little disappointed to say the least, I really though Governor Romney could really do well in the Presidential Office, I was on the same page with him on most of the issues, but now…I don’t know what to think anymore.
My choices fall between an over zealous while very real feeling Southern minister, God bless his heart…
and
A Washington mainstay that’s no more conservative than Micheal Jackson is black…
Mike Huckabee I don’t have a problem with so much, except for the fact that I think on a national scale, he is unelectable. But Senator McCain…sometimes I wonder if Hildabeast and him sometimes don’t go on dates when Bill is out of town. AND besides his shakiness when it comes to his “conservatism” He has his mother campaign for him. Isn’t he like 70? What the hell is his mom doing walking around let alone campaigning.
I don’t really know where this all leaves me politically speaking but you know, maybe the mixture of the two on the same ballot, McCain-president and Huckabee-VP, wouldn’t be such a bad ticket, it would most certainly give whatever the Democrats can throw up, unless of course everyone’s favorite downer Al Gore throws his little party hat into the ring.
